A digital experience

The environment that McDonald's restaurants offers has changed significantly in response to what customers say they want. They now have self-serve kiosks and digital menu boards, for example, and have installed table-mounted tablets so customers can browse the internet, keep up to date with social media, or play games while they're in the restaurant. However, the biggest change has been customers' expectations of public Wi-Fi. People want to be able to walk into the restaurants and get online on their own smartphones or tablets and they want that to be a really simple and easy process.
